'May He Merit Resting Mentally and Physically' Letter with Blessings by the Holy Rav Rabbi Avraham of karlin
Letter with blessings for good health hand-signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Elimelech of Karlin.
The Rebbe writes to his close associate Rabbi Meir Levin ''ידידי החסיד מ' מאיר בן בתי' שי' ידידי כתבו לי מהשני ניתוחים שעשו לו וברכתי אשא אליו שיעזור הש' הרופא לעל בשר שיהי' בטוב ובנכון וחיש מהר ישוב לבריאות השלימה ומעתה יסיר ה' ממנו כל מחלה וכל יסורים רעים ויזכה כבר לבוא אל המנוחה מעתה הן ברוחניות והן בגשמיות'.
The Rebbe hand-signed the letter that was handwritten by the Gabai.
The holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Elimelech of Karlin [1891-1942] the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel [The Yanuka] and his successor in Pinsk. The Tzaddikim of the generation appreciated and revered him. Headed important yeshivas. Visited the Holy Land four times and during his last visit, explicitly predicted an upcoming disaster for European Jewry. However, he refused to remain in Eretz Yisroel, returning to support his Chassidim. Was killed on Kiddush Hashem in Cheshvan 1942.
