On the flyleaf and title page and on additional leaves, the round stamp of the Gaon Rav Rabbi Sholom Moshe Halevi Ungar Av Beis Din of Nietra and the vicinity.
On the title page, important ownership notations 'Yosef Maya' the son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Berlin (Pik) Av Beis Din of Breslau.
The great Gaon Rabbi Yosef ben Rabbi Yechiel Michl Maya (1764-1810) was the son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Berlin (Pik) Av Beis Din of Breslau. Wrote comments on Sefer She'iltot DeRav Acha and with his brother Rabbi Michael Shimon, the Chidushei Hagahos on Arba'ah Turim, which was published anonymously. Rabbi Akiva Eiger visited Rabbi Yosef Maya and later wrote of him "My beloved friend and Rav the great, sharp, knowledgeable Tzaddik Yosef Maya". The Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Margolis wrote of him "The leading Rav".
