Sefer Torah Or on the Torah is only on Bereshis-Shemos. Likutei Amaraim by the Admor HaZaken Ba'al HaTanya on Vayikra-Devarim were published in a book titled Likutei Torah.
Owner's stamps of Rabbi S. Zalman Yitzchak Volshanik of Riga, with his signature on the title page of volume I.
The philnthropist Chassid Rabbi [Shneur] Zalman Yitzchak Volshanik (1860-1941) - married the daughter of the great-granddaughter of the Mitteler Admor. A representative of Kollel Chabad in Riga. The brother of Rabbi Avigdor Volshanik who was the chairman of Agudas Yisroel in Riga. Perished in the Holocaust. Is referred to in Igros Afmor HaRashab and the Admor the Rayatz.
Simple, renewed bindings with gilt lettering. Aging stains. Minor moth perforations to the corners of the second volume. Good-very good condition.
