Halachic Question by the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Roth to the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Vareshner Av Beis Din of Lublintz on the Din of a Nursing Mother. Tost, 1870.
In his letter, Rabbi Shlomo Roth asks about a Jewess who bore the son of a gentile and now wishes to marry a Jew. Rabbi Roth asks whether she is considered a nursing mother (as elucidated in Yevamos 42) and is forbidden to marry now or not and is permitted to marry immediately.
The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Vareshner was one of the leading rabbis of his generation, the son of the Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Vareshner who corresponded with Maran the holy Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger.
