A deed, the Hekdesh of a house by a philanthropist to Kollel Ungarin, with the signature and stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Friedman Av Beid Din of Baden - Wien, one of the greatest disciples of the Sheves Sofer. 


In the deed, the managers amd sages of Kollel Ungarin confirm the sale of a house in Nachalas Zvi to the philanthropist Rabbi Gershon Edenburger ben Perl whereas he, in turn, after a long life, will re-dedicate it to the Kollel for a committment ti say Kaddish and study Mishnayos on the first year after his passing and on his yahrzeit. 


The witness who signed the deed, alongside two other witnesses who signed their first name only, is the tzaddik Rabbi Michael Herman, a disciple of the holy Geonim the Arugas HaBosem and the Zhichron Yehuda and a leading Chassid of the Tzaddik the holy Rav Rabbi David'l Biderman of Lelov. 


The personal stamp of the Gaon Rav Rabbi Shlomo Friedman, the Rav and Av Beis Din of Baden near Vienna, appears on the deed.


The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Friedman [1869-1967] a leading disciple of Maran the Sheves Sofer, the son of the holy Gaon Rabbi David Friedman of Tzehlim, a disciple of Maran the Ketav Sofer and who was the son-in-law of the holy Gaon Rabbi Menachem Katz Prostitz. Was raised by his grandfather. Was the Rav of Tinye and succeeded hi sin-law Rabbi Binyomin Kahn as Av Beis Din of the Chareidim of the Baden community. Immigrated to the Holy Land in his old age and was famed for his sanctity and virtues. 


[2] pp. folded in the deed. 33 cm. Fold marks and wear. Stains. Tears. A tear to the upper part affecting some words. Good condition.
