Signed and stamped document, with the handwritten signature of the Gaon Rabbi Yeshayahu Zilberstein Av Beis Din of Vietzen and with his stamp. With the signature of the Hungarian consul in Trieste. 1887.

Rabbi Yeshayahu Zilberstein (1858-1930), one of the greatest leaders of Hungary. Author of 'Ma'assai Lamelech' on the Rambam. Was born to his father the Gaon Rav Rabbi David Leib Av Beis Din of Kerestor, Travishov and Vietzen auhtor of the Sefer "Shvilei David" on the Shulchan Aruch. Rabbi Yeshayahu was a disciple of the Kesav Sofer at the Pressburg Yeshiva and received his Hora'ah Semicha by Rabbi Chaim Sofer of Munkatch, Rabbi Chaim Menheimer of Ungvar and the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yehuda Av Beis Din of Bergsas author of 'Kol Aryeh'. Since 1884, served as Rav and Av Beis Din in Vietzen and headed the yeshiva there. Passed away in Vietzen in Tamuz 1930. His sons the rabbis Moshe Zvi, David Yehuda and Yisroel were killed on Kiddush Hashem during the Holocaust.
The document was torn and taped along the fold lines, stains, fair-good condition.
