Letter of friendship and love full of gratitude sent by the holy Rav the Nesivos Sholom of Slonim to a public figure who dedicated time to study Torah. Jerusalem, 1989.

In the letter, the Nesivos Sholom writes to the famed activist Rabbi Menachem Porush, the chairman of Agudas Yisroel of Jerusalem, expressing his gratitude for the letter of gratitude he had sent him after receiving his Seforim Netivos Sholom.

The Rebbe thanks him warmly in his rich and special language 'ברך לקחתי וברך אשיבנה, שיברכו השי"ת בשנות חיים טובים וארוכים ובריאים, ויזכה לפעול עוד גדולות ורבות לכלל ולפרט מתוך שובע שמחות ונחת, שמחה וטוב לבב'.

In addition, the Rebbe states that he is deeply impressed that he finds the time, amidst his stressing public activity, to Avodas Hashem. The Rebbe refers to the well-known saying of Maran the holy Rav of Kobrin 'אשר כל חללי עלמא אינו שווה לרגע אחד של ישוב הדעת'.

Maran the holy Admor Rabbi Sholom Noach Berezovsky author of Nesivos Sholom of Slonim (1911-2000). One of the most important Admorim in our generation and one of the greatest leaders of the Haredi community, one of the leaders of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and a member of the presidency of Va'ad HaYeshivas. An educator and expert pedagog who prevented many from sin. Established the 'Beis Avraham' yeshiva, seeing it as the way to keep the Lachovitz and Kobrin dynasties alive and thus established and developed the holy Slonim court in Jerusalem . He was the Rosh Yeshiva for approx. forty years until he was appointed Admor.
