An auction of rare and special items, Igros Kodesh (holy letters) and dollars by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, an early and important edition of Sefer HaTanya, Igeres Kodesh by the Tzemach Tzeddek and additional items, mostly from the collection of the important Rav Rabbi Menachem Yisroel Malov, a senior Chassid who established the Chabad synagogue of Bnei Berak, founded an important Gemach fund and merited the Rebbe's closeness. An auction for the tenth of Shevas – Yoma DeHillula of the Rebbe the Rayatz and the day the Lubavitcher Rebbe received the presidency.

Two $1 Banknotes Given to 'Tankmen' by the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Early Years

Two $1 banknotes given by the Rebbe in the early years of his distribution of dollars, on the Hitva'adus of the 14th of Adar A 1978, Purim Katan, given to 'Tankmen' to be distributed by them. 


In the early years, the distribution of dollars was done mainly to Tankmen on varied Hitva'aduyos. The custom was founded in 1975. 

These are two banknotes that were distributed in 1978. 


On each banknote, their receiver wrote the date it was received and the special occasion during which it was given.
