A document signed by Rabbi Uziel Elchayech author of "Mishkenos HaRo'im" and Rabbi Yaakov ben Eliyahu Hacohen, pertaining to transactions between Rabbi Yaakov hacohen and Rabbi Michael Ashkenazi author of Sefer "Em Haderech".

Chacham Rabbi Uziel Elchayech - a sharp Gaon, one of the greatest rabbis of Tunis, a leading disciple of Rabbi Natan Borgel. Rav in Tunis during the years 1767-1810. Author of Hilchos "Mishkenos HaRo'im" (Livorno, 1860) and Sefer Derashos "Chaim VaChessed" (Livorno, 1865). His Psakim are part of the building blocks of the Psikah of the sages of North Africa.
