Extremely rare! Chessed LeAvraham by the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham HaMalach, the son of the holy Rav Rabbeinu the Maggid of Mezeritch, first edition, Chernowitz, 1851. As written on the title page, the SEfer was published 'By the order of the Admor the holy and pure Rav Or Olam Rabbi Yisroel of Ruzhin the grandson of HaMalach the author'.
At the beginning of the Sefer, approbation by the holy Rav Rabbi Tisroel of Ruzhin and this is one of approx. three approbations that were written by him. After the writing of the approbation and before the Sefer was printed, the holy Yisroel of Ruzhin passed away and his holy sons the holy Rav Rabbi Sholom Yosef of Ruzhin and the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura added an approbation to his.
To the writings of Rabbi Avraham HaMalach, Drushim on the Torah by Rabbi Avraham Kalisker who was buried in Tiberius were added as well as compilations by great Chassidic Tzaddikim. This copy is extremely rare not only due to it being a copy of the rare first edition but also because the name of the town 'Chernowitz' was omitted from some of the copies but not from this one! In addition, the margins of this copy are very wide and was bound unopened.
Appearing on the leaves of the Sefer is the personal stamp of the holy Rav Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil of Stretin as well as several lengthy handwritten editings.
The holy Rav Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil of Stretin the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Zvi the founder of the holy Chassidic dynasty of Stretin. Studied Torah with his father and the holy Rav the Saraf Rabbi Uri of Strelisk. In his visit to the holy court of Or Yisroel of Ruzhin he was most respected by the holy Rav who even ordered his sons to bring him Kvitelach to be saved by his prayers.
