'To enjoy the pleasantness of his brilliance and prayer and be blessed by a Tzaddik'. Rare invitation postcard in honor of the arrival of the Holy Rav Rosh Golat Ariel the Chakal Yitzchak of Spinka to Mishkoltz for Sabbath. Parashas Yitro, 1933.
The printed postcard opens with poetic, emotional language, announcing that on Sabbath Kodesh Yitro the holy Gaon the Admor Maran Yitzchak Isaac Shalita of Spinka [now living in Sellish] will be spending the Sabbath in our town therefore dear brothers, gather to honor the Torah and enjoy the pleasantness of his brilliance and prayer and be blessed by a Tzaddik.
The Holy Rav the Chakal Yitzchak of Spinka [1875-1944] the only son of the Admor Rabbi Yosef Meir author of the 'Imrei Yosef', the founder of the Spinka Chassidic dynasty and the son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Yissachar Berish Eichenstein of Veratzky-Ziditchov, author of 'Malbush LeShabbas VeYom Tov". During World War I, he moved to Munkatch and from there to Sellish, which became the new center of the Spinka Chassidus, which included thousands of Chassidic families from the Zakarpatska Oblast.
