Signatures from the 12th Zionist Congress. Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), Czechoslovakia, 14.09.1921. Among the signatures: Weitzman, Ze'ev Jabotinsky, Menachem Ussishkin, Yelin, Struck and more.

18 Signatures of participants of the 12th Zionist Congress, who convened in Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) in 1921. This Congress was the first after the World War I and the conquest of Israel by the British. The Congress convened to discuss the British Mandate and about Israel: They approved the Balfour Declaration, decided on the establishment of 'Keren HaYesod' and discussed the acquisition of the Emek Yisrael land, expanding the settlements in Israel, and establishing National industries.

2. Leo (Aryeh Leib) Motzkin [1867-1933] - Zionist leader and second chairman of the Zionist General Council, known as a fighter for the national rights of the Jews.

3. M. [Avraham Menachem Mendel] Ussishkin

5. David Yellin [1864-1941] - the Hebrew language researcher, Writer and teacher founder of the Teachers Union, and chairman of the National Committee.

6. Chaim Weitzman [1874-1952] - esteemed biochemist, President of the World Zionist Organization 'Histadrut', and first President of Israel.

7. Julius Simon [1875-1969] - Born in Mannheim Germany, businessman, economist and Zionist activist, board member of the JCT (Jewish Colonial Trust), and of the Zionist administration and founder of the 'Keren KaYement L'Israel' - KKL (the Jewish National Fund).

8. Berthold [Baruch] Feiwel [1875-1937] Attorny, writer, poet, Zionist publicist and leader. Served in management position of senior Zionist institutions, among them manager of 'Keren HaYesod' and of the JCT (Jewish Colonial Trust).

10. Adolf Boehm [1873-1941] Vienna, writer and historian. Founder of the 'Histadrut' National Zionist Organization in Austria, member of the Zionist General Council, and member of the Board of Directors of Keren KaYemet L'Israel – KKL, editor of the magazine 'Palistine' which discussed the settlement and research of Israel. Was arrested and killed by the Gestapo during WWII.

Herman (Chaim Aharon) Struck [1876-1944] - Artist of Jewish and Zionist prints, from noteworthy Jewish artists in Germany, Zionist activist of Mizrachi movement, member of Zionist General Council – ZGC, and member of the Board of Directors of Keren KaYemet L'Israel - KKL (Jewish National Fund).

12. Richard Beer-Hofmann [1866-1945] - Poet and native writer, Vienna. In the year 1939 he fled from the Nazi's and immigrated to the United States.

13. Joseph Cowen [1865-1936] -  Founder and leader of the Zionist movement in Great Britain.

14. Montague David Eder [1865-1936] - Student of Sigmund Freud and from the heads of psychoanalyst in Britain, physician, writer and Zionist leader. Among other things he served as Zionist Executive member in Jerusalem and London and chairman of Zionist Organization in Britain. Member of the board of delegates which was established following the Balfour Declaration, and a liaison for the leaders of the settlements with the mandate authorities.

Vladimir (Zev) Jabotinsky [1880-1940] - was a Russian Jewish Zionist leader, Author, poet, philosopher, famous publicist and orator,  soldier, commander and founder of the Jewish Self-Defense Organization in Odessa and Jerusalem, founder of the Jewish Legion and supreme commander of the Irgun Zeva'i Le'ummi (IZL), founder of the Revisionist faction of Zionism and the Beitar movement.

16. Chaim Nachman Bialik [1873-1934] - "The National poet", from the great Hebrew poets in the new era, author and editor, translator. Immigrated to Israel in 1924, settled in Tel Aviv, and contributed to its being cultural and literary center of the settlement. 

17. Dr. [Abraham] Jehoshua [Ozjasz (Osias)] Thon [1870-1936] - Rabbi, author, philosopher, publicist and Zionist leader in Poland.

18. Yitchok Gruenbaum [1879-1970] - Attorney, journalist, and historian. Head of the radical Zionist party 'Al HaMishmar' in Poland, and from the Zionist heads in Poland between the two World Wars. Immigrated to Israel in 1933, and served as member of the management of the Jewish Agency and the 'Histadrut' World Zionist Organization, as head of Bialik Institute, and member of Salvation Committee during the Holocaust. After the establishment of Israel he was the first to serve as Minister of Interior.
