Document revealing the concealed and mysterious plan of the Holy 'Tzemach Tzadik' Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Viznitz, to ascend to the Holy Land of Israel. Proving the deposit given for the
purchase of a seat in the Beit HaKnesset Ari, as follows:
להיות לראי' מאיתנו הח"מ אנחנו הגבאים וגזברים בביהכנ"ס האר"י לוריא זיע"א,
אשר כן נתפשרים עם ידידנו הרב ר' משה חר"ג נ"י, בדבר המקום אשר מכרנו לאדמו"ר הרב הקדוש מו"ה מנחם מענדיל מענדיל מוויזניצא שליט"א אשר לע"ע יתן לידינו סך חמשים ר"כ וכאשר נזכה שיבא אדמו"ר לאה"ק או מי שיבא בפקודת אדמו"ר להחזיק בהמקום הנ"ל אזי מחויב להשלים עד סך מאה ר"כ. וכל זמן משך שלא יחזיק איש בכח ורשות אדמו"ר אזי שייך הכנסה של המקום הנ"ל לביהכ"נ הנ"ל כ"ז נעשה בהסכם כולנו ולאות אמת באעה"ח כ"ד שבט תרכ"ד [או תרכ"ב] לפ"ק פעיה"ק צפת ת"ו וכבר קבלנו מידי הרב ר' משה חר"ג הנ"ל הסך חמשים ר"כ הראשונים ובאעה"ח:

At the end of his life the Holy 'Tzemach Tzadik' zy"a wished to immigrate to the Holy Land of Israel to settle there.
Translated as follows from the sefer 'Even Shesiyah' (page 429):
Many days before his passing the Holy Rabbi wished to settle in the Holy Land of Israel, and he spoke many times that he should be allowed to travel there, and hoped that with G-ds help to arouse from there an abundance of blessings for them. But when he realized that his Chassidim from abroad were unwilling, and so after his son the Holy Imrei Baruch argued that in Eretz Yisrael professional and good Doctors are not found to be able to treat his father, then the Holy Rabbi stopped to talk about it, and the idea was silenced.
In the sefer "Kedosh Yisrael" (part 1, page294) it is brought, when talking about his ascendant to the Holy Land – the Rabbi would say from time to time "When will I see myself and my disciples in Beit Medrash in Safed, but there If anyone will call me 'Rabbi' I will be angry at him.
