World champion Artium Dolgofiat places his gold
medal for an auction.
He won the world championship gold medal held on
Oct-7-2023
All proceeds will be forwarded through Keren Shoresh
association to support settlements along the Gaza
border,
“To me, Israel is always number one”, says Artium
Artium Dolgofiat the Tokio 2020 Olympic gold medal champion won the
world gymnastic championship at the day Israel was attacked by the
Chamas.
Artium, representing Maccabi Tel-Aviv Gymnastic Association, was
pondering lately how can he meaningfully supports these settlements
people, in addition to his meetings with the evacuated families, decided
to contribute his treasured medal to this cause via public auction where
the proceed will be forwarded to border settlers.
The initial bidding stands at $100,000.
The medal weighs 132 grams, 80mm in diameter. It includes the band
depicting the event which is second only to Olympic championship.
The funds from the sale will be forwarded to Keren Shoresh association
specializing in providing immediate life preserving help to victims of the
Chamas.
Keren Shoresh specifically in supporting the settlements: Kisofim, Nir-Oz,
Kfar Aza, Mishmar Hanegev, Beery, and Sderot.

Artium Dolgofiat: “Standing on the podium at the Antverpen ceremony,
receiving the medals, I was in great sorrow internally thinking of terrible
things occurring in the Gaza border. While listening to Israeli national
anthem my legs were shaken, I was overwhelmed by great pride for
Israel, which to me, Israel won the first place.

Following the exuberating day in Belgium, Artium received hundreds of
Watsup messages from Israelis expressing their pride and appreciation
with his achievement.
This title gained Artium with the ticket to 2024 Paris Olympic Games. As
such Artium Dolgofiat became the first Israeli athlete ever holding all the
most prestigious titles; Olympic games Champion, World champion,
twice Europe champion, in addition to many other prestigious medals of
all colors.
