Lot of 2 Rare Cadastral Maps – Lands of the ”Arab al-Ghazawiyya” Tribe (Beit She'an Valley), Survey of Palestine, 1932 - Lot of two original land registration and division maps (registration blocks 5, 6, and 8). Beit She'an Valley, Asi Basin, lands of the Bedouin tribe Arab al-Ghazawiyya (in the vicinity of the kibbutzim Nir David and Massilot of today). Publisher / printed by: Survey of Palestine, Jaffa. Year: 1932. Scale: 1:250,000 (large and highly detailed scale). The maps bear the official signature of the Director of Surveys and carry a rare purple ink stamp of the Mandatory Water Commissioner. The maps were produced as part of the implementation of the Ghor Mudawwara Land Agreement of 1921, which regulated the transfer of government lands (Jiftlik) in the Beit She'an Valley and Arabah region to local residents and tribes. The map presents in detail the division of parcels, including an area table in dunams and square meters (according to the Mandatory calculation of 1 dunam = 919.33 sq m). 72.5×57.5 cm. In generally good condition, complete, with light natural yellowing of the paper, light fold and storage marks, light tears along the lower and upper margins, and light wear to the margins without affecting the graphic information or text.
