Collection of 9 Old Silver Jewels – Lapel Brooches and Vintage Pendants in the ”Maskit” Style and Judaica - A collection of 9 old silver jewels, including lapel brooches and pendants in unique and varied designs. The collection includes, among other pieces, classic Israeli designs from the mid-twentieth century, traditional Judaica motifs, and modernist ”studio” designs associated with fashion houses such as ”Maskit” and the goldsmiths' workshops of Jerusalem and Jaffa. The lot includes: A magnificent crescent brooch in Yemenite filigree work, a jug brooch in an archaeological style, a three-dimensional Star of David pendant, and richly hammered/raised relief work brooches set with pearls and natural gemstones (turquoise and onyx). In various conditions, most with light wear, principally patina. Total weight: 68 g.
