Original Factory Package of 9 Heavy-Duty Pocket Knives with Simulated Stag-Horn Handles – Old New Stock (NOS) in Original Packaging! - An original cardboard and paper period package containing 9 exceptionally heavy-duty pocket knives. Unlike gentlemen's slim folding knives, this model was originally designed and conceived as a utility/camp knife intended to withstand harsh conditions. The package remained sealed and secured in an old warehouse for decades; only one knife was carefully removed for photography and to demonstrate the mechanism's strength, while the remaining 8 knives await inside in their entirely original, factory-fresh condition. The crowning feature of this model is its premium handle, simulating aged stag horn. The deep texture grooves lend the knife not only a rustic, authentic appearance of a classic hunter's knife, but also uncompromising functionality that prevents slipping from the hand during use. The blade is wide and thick, the joints are protected by wide metal bolsters, and a metal safety ring is fitted at the end. The outer package is made of plain heavy paper with no markings, as was often the practice for direct wholesale shipments between manufacturers or dedicated supply to trade and field-equipment stores. The lot is sold as-is, as a collectible and industrial-history artifact. Although the knives themselves are new old stock and have never been used, due to decades of storage and the natural contact of iron with air, the metal bolsters and blades show natural aging signs, light patina, or surface rust spots amenable to light cleaning (as visible on the demonstration knife in the photographs).
