Pair of Authentic Miniature Decorative / Wall Rugs – Pakistani Weaving (Karachi, Pakistan) – Central Medallion Design - A matching pair of miniature Oriental decorative rugs, intended for use as table mats, decorative wall hangings, or distinctive display pieces. The rugs were woven in the historic port city of Karachi, Pakistan, known for its quality carpet-weaving tradition influenced by classical Persian design. The decorative rugs feature an elaborate central medallion design surrounded by a rich geometric border (spandrels and complex diamond patterns). Deep navy/cobalt blue ground with Iv-ory, beige, and bronze-gold decorations. Finish and edges: both rugs are surrounded by dense, richly knotted light-colored fringe. On the reverse of one of the rugs, the original old label of the Pakistani shipping/weaving company is preserved, bearing the official origin marking: 64002 KARACHI. 31 × 31 cm each. The pair is in very good condition; the fibers are intact and clean, with no tears, no significant color fading, and no abrasion to the pile. The fringe borders are fully intact.
