This edition of Lermontov's works contains all significant amendments and additions that appeared in print after the 1880 edition. By placing in the Annex I that the novel "Princess Ligovsky" and making in II that the newly discovered poem "Sashka" edition, in order to avoid unnecessary increase in the size and cost of publication, did not dare, however, to reprint the works of an earlier time, namely: children's poems that appeared in the "Russian Thought" and "youth drama" of the poet, published in 1880 book.
