Torat HaAdam by the Ramban. Venice, [1595].
Sefer Torat HaAdam, the
Ramban's famed book including the Halachot of the sick, burial and mourning, with the more renowned section titled Sha'ar Hagmul which published in itself many times.
Printed on the last leaf is a letter sent by the Ramban from Jerusalem to his son in Spain (this is not the familiar Igeret HaRamban).
At the beginning of the book, a poem praising the Rambam by Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh of Modena.
On the upper part of the title page, an ownership notation in ancient Italian script of "Eliezer Luzzatto".

108 leaves – here, only one leaf is missing; leaf 8 is mostly cut, only its lower part remaining. 20 cm. Good condition. Some moth perforations. Some stains. Bright quality paper. Fine, ancient leather binding.
