With Signature of Rabbi Mattitya Nissim Tirani, a leading Italian Sage.

Mishnayot with the Kaf Nachat commentary. This is a short elucidation explaining the Mishnah and clarifying the words, compiled by Rabbi Yitzchak Gabbai. He culled the commentary from Rashi and Rambam’s commentaries, and added some of his own explanations.

The title page features the signature of Rabbi Mattitya Nissim Tirani.

Rabbi Mattitya Nissim Tirani (1745-1815) was a leading Italian Rabbi and poet. He stood at the helm of a number of communities including, Florence, Urbino and Pesaro. Rabbi Mattitya held the Chida in the highest esteem and quotes him with great reverence in his writings and responsa.
Rabbi Mattitya also authored plays whose themes were based on traditional, fundamental Biblical and Midrashic themes. These plays depict Italian, Jewish life of that era with its value of Torah with Derech Eretz.
Rabbi Mattitya was a cousin of Rabbi Daniel Tirani, author of Ikrei HaDat.
