Includes numerous sketches of the Temple’s structure and its vessels. Includes a large folded map of the Temple’s structure. Additional leaf with explanations on the map. Complete.


Rabbi Moshe Chefetz was born in 1663 in Trieste, Italy. He studied under Venice’s Torah scholars, including Chacham Shlomo ben Yeshaya Nitza. Rabbi Moshe, an illustrious scholar, was erudite in philosophy and nature as well talented in music.

In 1678, Sefer Tanach was printed in Venice. Its first page included a poem by Rabbi Chefetz. He passed away in 1711, at only 48 years old
Chanukat HaBayit was printed in two parts. Initially, the text of the book was printed with gaps left for the sketches. These were later added by embossing.
