The book, ‘She’eilot LeHaChacham kh”r Shaul Hakohen zlh”h’, elucidations on Moreh Nevuchim from Don Yitzchak Abarbanel, Rabbi Yosef Gikatillah and other sages.


The book commences with questions on Jewish thought and philosophy that Rabbi Shaul HaKohen of Candia (disciple of Rabbi Eliyah Delmadigo) addressed to Don Yitzchak Abarbanel, along with his responses. These include some of his elucidations on the Moreh Nevuchim of the Rambam.

The book also includes explanations on Moreh Nevuchim by Rabbi Moshe ben Yehudah Najari, a commentary on the 25 introductions to the second part of Moreh Nevuchim by Abu Becher al-Tavrizi the Persian (translated from Arabic by Rabbi Yitzchak HaKartavi), and elucidations on Moreh Nevuchim by Rabbi Yosef Gikatillah.
