Rabbi Moshe of Coucy, one of the Ba’alei Tosafot was the son of Rabbi Yaakov of the Ba’alei Tosafor. He was a leading Halachic authority in his generation and one of the greatest Rishonim. Rabbi Moshe authored his Halachic composition in the 13th Century and it served as a fundamental Halachic resource for ensuing generations.
On the title page is the signature of Rabbi Zemach Narbonne who was rabbi of the 'Knesset HaGedolah' and a member of the Beit Din of the Maharit.
