Sha'arei Tzion. Pisa, 1799. An Exceptionally Elegant Copy Presented in a Matching Leather Box.
Prayers, supplications, hymns, and corrections edited by the Kabbalist Rabbi Nathan Neta HaNover. With the addition of 'Tikun Shelosha Mishmarot'.

A beautiful copy with golden-edged margins and an antique brown leather binding, adorned with gold leaf embellishments of decorative leaves, a harp, and a violin. The owner's name, an Italian, is inscribed on a gold ring: Solomon Volterra. The book is housed in a custom-made leather box with gold decorations. Both the book and the box bear a stamped emblem with the initials 'T.T.' topped by a crown.

The book 'Sha'arei Tzion' was very well-received and became one of the most popular prayer books. The author, a disciple of Rabbi Chaim HaCohen from Aleppo and a student of Rabbi Chaim Vital, compiled this book from the writings of Kabbalistic rabies in his possession.

The influence of 'Sha'arei Tzion' was significant, particularly in spreading the practice of reciting the midnight Tikun according to this version.

Pisa, 1799.
172, [4] pages. 15 cm. Very good condition. Bright and high-quality paper.
