Segulah Book: Raziel HaMalach – with a signature. Thessaloniki, 1843. Kabbalah. Rare.
This is a book Adam HaRishon, who received it from the angel Raziel.
One of the oldest Kabbalistic books, attributed to none other than Adam HaRishon.
The title page notes that the book serves as a "segulah for wise and intelligent descendants, for success, blessing, extinguishing the fiery conflict so that it does not reign in one's home, and warding off any evil spirit or harmful encounter from his dwelling."
The owner's signature on the title page reads, "This holy book belongs to Mr. Moshe son of Mr. Yaakov Yosef Friedland, resident and elder of the holy community of Clermont"
Thessaloniki, 5643 [1843]. Printed by Sa'adi Halevi Ashkenazi.
Page [1] + folded page in size [4] leaves (between leaves 10 and 11). Includes diagrams, illustrations, and amulets. 20.5 cm.
