Tiferet Yisrael – Megillat Sefer. Venice, 1600.
Tiferet Yisrael is comprised of six sermons on the ‘Sheva Chochmot’. Authored by Rabbi Shlomo son of Tzemach Duran.

With the additional book, Megillat Sefer. This book includes an elucidation on Megillat Esther, the essay ‘Se’udat Mitzvah’, a poem by Rabbi Y. Z Giyot regarding Purim, with commentary of the author’s father, Rabbi Tzemach Duran.

Rabbi Shlomo son of Tzemach Duran “the last Rashbatz” (Otzar HaRabbanim 18407): was a leading 16th Century Torah sage in North Africa. He was a descendant of Shu”t HaTashbatz and the Rashbash, and a scion of the Duran Rabbinical family of Algiers. Rabbi Shlomo co-authored the Halachic work, Chut HaMeshulash. This was printed as the fourth section of Shu”t HaTashbatz.
