A Rare Segulah Book: 'Mizbeach Hazahav'. With Approbations from the Shelah HaKadosh, the 'Kli Yakar', the 'Ba'al HaLevushim', and more. Basel, 1602. First Edition.
The book 'Mizbeach HaZahav' details the order of preparing the incense with its mystical remedies and prayers for protection from plagues. Alongside this, it includes sermons and halachic, and Kabbalistic discourse on matters related to the incense and its mystical properties.

Authored by Rabbi Shlomo ben Rabbi Mordechai of Mezeritch, a disciple of the Maharshal.

"Therefore, I have seen fit to provide a remedy before the illness arrives, and I brought it to the printing house with the endorsements of the great rabbis of the generation... so that it will be in the hands of every Jew for protection and as a shield and defense, from any plague God forbid."

This important mystical book received significant endorsements from the rabbis of that generation:
Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe, author of 'Levushim'; Rabbi Ephraim of Luntschitz, author of 'Olelot Ephraim' (who writes about the book's mystical quality to save from death during a plague); Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Abraham, author of 'Mateh Moshe'; Rabbi Yehoshua Falk Cohen, author of the 'Smah'; Rabbi Yeshayah Horowitz, author of the holy 'Shelah'; and Rabbi Yehudah Leib, author of 'Minchat Yehuda.'

Basel, 1602.
44 leaves.
Complete copy in excellent condition. Modern cardboard binding.

An exceptionally rare segulah book.
