It is most rare to discover a complete copy of this book. Not found in Public Auctions.

The title page have the words “Tapuchei Zahav” in bold, so its easy to erroneously assume this is the name of the book. However, as it states in small letters on the title page and as can be seen on the page headers, the book is entitled ‘Yesod Shirim’.

This is a Kabbalistic composition that quotes the Zohar Chadash, as well as a vanished commentary on Megillat Rut. It includes a commentary on Rut based on Peshat style as well as esoteric understanding, Kabbalistic explanations, hidden secrets and Sod Malchut Beit David.
On the fist page appears a handwritten gloss. On the flyleaves at the back of the book appear handwritten ownership listings, written in ancient Ashkenazi script.

This is one of a total of only דix books that were printed in Tiengen.
