The book, Halichot Olam, is an introduction to oral Torah in general, and the system of Gemara in particular.
Includes the commentary of Rabbi Yehoshua HaLevi to the 13 Attributes of Mercy. Includes an introduction to the Talmud by Shmuel Hanagid.
Printed by the brothers Yitzchk and Shlomo son of Shmuel of Norzi. Mantua, 1593.

Rabbi Yehoshua HaLevi (1430-1510) was one of North Africa’s great Rabbis. Due to unrest he immigrated to Toledo, Spain, where he authored his book, Halichot Olam. For generations, this book has been studied as an introduction to Gemara study.
