Absolutely beautiful and complete copy of this rare and significant polemic, contesting Sabbateanism.

Rabbi Yaakov son of Ahron Sasportash (1610-1698) was a great sage and Kabbalist. He fought against Sabbateanism in general and Shabtai Tzvi in particular.

The Yaavetz, Rabbi Yaakov Emdem (1698-1776) was the son of Chacham Tzvi, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Ashkenazi. He was one of 18th Century’s greatest sages and was born in Altona, Germany. Likewise, the Yaavetz was a fierce opponent of Sabbateanism.
