Prayerbook for Shabbat and the 3 Festivals – according the customs of the Sefardim.

Yosef Attias, Amsterdam 1689.

Title page bears an important copper etching, with features of the Festivals: a central depiction of the eating of the Korban Pesach on the night of Yetziat Mitzrayim, those partaking of the sacrifice with their bundles on their back and their staffs in hand. At the top, an illustration of Moshe Rabbenu with the Luchot Habrit, the Holy Tablets in his hands. And finally an illustration of Jews holding Lulavim, Palm Fronds.

On title page appears the following:

Edited with much effort, although mistakes still appear from previously prayers…”

A magnificent impressive item.
