Repin Ilya Efimovich (1844, the Kharkov province - 1930, Kuokkala, "Penates", Finland).
Studied at the drawing school under the Society of artists encouragement under R.K. Zhukovsky and I.N. Kramsky, later at the Academy of Arts (1864-1871) in St. Petersburg. Member of the Association of Itinerant Exhibitions (since 1878). His works can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and many other museum collections.
