Titov Ivan Filippovich (1902, Tchelyabinsk region – 1983, Moscow).
People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1969). In 1972 he was awarded with the Order of Lenin, in 1973, with the M.B. Grekov Silver Medal. He graduated from the Department of Graphic Arts of the VKhUTEIN in 1932. He was a student of D.I. Mitrokhin, V.M. Konashevich, E.S. Kruglikova, V.E. Savitsky, and N.E. Radlov. He was a chief artist of the “Ogoniok” magazine. First exhibited in 1932. He had one-man shows in 1952, 1962, 1972, and 1977. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, Pushkin State Fine Arts Museum, in many regional museums, and also in national and private collections in the UK, Japan, China, Burma, Poland, Bulgaria, Vietnam, and other countries.
