Honored artist of Russia (1995)
In 1935 took part at the young artist exhibition in Moscow (water-colour, genre) According to the results of the exhibition and with a recommendation letter of I. Bogorodskiy entered the I.E. Repin Academy of Arts (Leningrad).
During 1936-1942 was studying at the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute at S.V. Gerasimov studio.
From 1942-1945 was the participant of The Great Patriotic War. In 1943 became a member of Artists Union (Moscow Artists Union).
Since 1946 was a participant of more than 60 art exhibitions (all-union, republican, Moscow, and group art exhibitions in England, Italy).
His one-man show took place in Moscow, 1976.In 1996 his one-man show took place in the State exhibiting hall “ Zamoskvorechie” (Moscow).

The works of the artist are presented at the museums of Russia (Murmansk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Arhangelsk, Elizovo (Kamchatka), the Moscow Sate University (Moscow), Middle Asia (Tashkent, Samarkand, Hiva, Buhara), in the museum of the Great Patriotic War (Moscow), as well as in private collections in England, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, France an others.
