Halachic Response in the Handwriting of Rabbi Itzale'h of Ponevezh
Halachic answer in the handwriting of the great genius Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Rabinowitz of Ponevezh (Rabbi Itzale'h Puneivzer).
Halachic respond he replied on divorced and Halitza Halocheh.
The genius of Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Rabinowitz [1854-1919] of Lithuanian geniuses in the generation before the destruction of Europe. Head of the Slovadka Yeshiva and then Ponevezh rabbi and head of the Yeshiva there. He became known for his exceptional scholarship from the students of Beit HaLevi and studied for about two years with his son Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik. He also known for his great Hassidut and told that he was crying bitterly at the shofar blasts on Rosh Hashanah. Among his students are the genius Rabbi Naftali Trop of the leaders of the Radin Yeshiva, the genius Rabbi Baruch Horowitz, the head of the Slavodka Yeshiva and the Gaon Rabbi Elazar Menachem Shach head of the Ponevezh Yeshiva. He would not write his novelties and only leave a book of answers, 'zecher Yitchak' as well as a few innovations for the SAHS from student letters.
