Important Letter Signed by the Admo"r of Lubavitch - Segulahs and Blessings for the Two Most Important Desires: Children and Sustenance

Letter from the Admo"r of Lubavitch to Mrs. Esther. 4 Kislev, 1984, Brooklyn, New York.

In this letter, the Rebbe gives counsel more precious than gold for the two most important desires: Children and sustenance. With respect to livelihood, the Rebbe advises to do "as perceptive friends advise." That is to say, to seek counsel with a friend specifically, and not just any friend, but one who understand the field, and these virtues together will lead to the correct and true counsel. And with respect to viable offspring, the Rebbi instructs that it is a segulah to review the halachahs of family purity. The rebbe also adds a third segulah in the letter: fulfilling the Torah's commandments. Aside from the commandment to fulfill them, "It is also the way for a person to receive necessary blessings."

The Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson [1902-1994], seventh in the dynasty of Admo"rs of Lubavitch, served as Admo"r from 1951 until his passing. He was a tremendous gaon in all realms of Torah, and his net was - and still is - cast across the entire world.

[1] leaf official stationery, 21 cm. Typewritten, with the addition of the Rebbe's handwritten corrections and punctuation, and his signature at the end; very fine condition. Fold marks.
