Shehecheyanu VeKiyemanu VeHigiavu to establishment of the Yeshiva Hall Which are Torah raised, magnificent and multifaceted for hundreds of bney zion ...  I am honored to invite you to the celebration of the inauguration of the Yeshiva Hall, held on Sunday, June 7, 1953, in the courteous presence of the honorable President of the State of Israel, Mr. Yitzhak Ben-Zvi and his wife, and with the participation of the Chief Rabbis, The Presidency and Members of the Knesset, the Ministers of the State, the Torah leaders in our land, the leaders of the metivta, the Admors and the Rabbis ... Sincerely, Rabbi Yosef S. Kahneman''.

In June 1953, the central building of the Ponevezh Yeshiva, the Kreuzhar Torah Hall, was inaugurated, with the central Beit Midrash and lecture halls. The festive ceremony was attended by President Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, Chief Rabbi Herzog, Ministers Burg and Shapira, the Admors of Pashmishel, Sadigura and Modjic and the Chief Rabbis of the cities of Gush Dan.

Judge Isaac Kister led the ceremony. Following a congratulatory speech by Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin, chairman of the yeshiva committee, Rabbi Kahanman spoke for the first time in his life in Hebrew. He noted that over 300 Yeshiva students before the Holocaust survived only two, and now a continuation is being built for this Torah plant in Eretz Israel. Then President Ben-Zvi spoke.

Before us the original invitation sent to various personalities on the occasion. In the foreground entitled 'Invitation to Honor' shows the Yeshiva building designed by architect Isaac Schuster. The front page shows the Hall of Assembly and a mention of the presence of the President of the State, with the name of the President, Members of the Knesset and Ministers of State, prior to the mention of the Torah leaders and the Admors.

The invitation, attended by heads of state, caused a stir among the ultra-Orthodox public and a group of "veterans and students of the Ponevezh Yeshiva" published Pashkvilim condemning the invitation of the Zionist people to the Yeshiva. The yeshiva's management hanged the act on external parties seeking to injure it.
