The "Unforgettable Art" Association invites you to an experience of qualitative Israeli art by the best Israeli artists.
During the exhibition, an art auction will be held aiming to raise money for a grant fund for plastic artists in need, in accordance with the goals of the Association, which are: supporting artists in life-saving and life improving projects, assistance in raising funds for the purchase of food and medicine, assistance in financing medical treatment in Israel and abroad, including the purchase of medical devices and assistance to veteran artists and/or their families in the removal, storage, sale and perpetuation of their works.

You are invited to take part of this exciting project and to participate in the launching of the Association and in the Art Evening Auction.
The festive event will take place on Saturday night, 17.8.2019 at 19:30.

יגאל ליכטנשטיין הוא צייר אוטודידקט משכיל. העוסק בספרות, בהיסטוריה האנושית ובמיתוסים שונים.
הציג בתערוכות יחיד ומכר עד כה למעלה מ 300 יצירות.
השכלתו הייחודית וחוויות חייו הייחודיות באות ליידי ביטוי במאות מיצירותיו. תמונותיו כמעט אינן עוסקות במציאות הרגילה ודמויותיו גם הן לקוחות מעולם בדיוני עשיר מאין כמותו. מסתורי תודעתו של האמן נפרשים לכל אורך יצירתו, אם במודע ואם באופן מיסטי-חלומי. לדבריו רבות מדמויותיו מופיעות אצלו בחלום לאחר שברא אותם על הבד. הסגנון הוא סוריאל-קוביסטי הייחודי רק לו. כל תמונה מספרת סיפור או מגדירה סיטואציה מיסטית על גבול החלום. גם קונפליקטים רבים ותאורי מאבק שזורים ביצירותיו כחלק בלתי נפרד ממכלול יצירתו. 'האמנות שלי היא כלי מלחמה בידי כנגד האויב'' אומר האמן. להסביר אפשר רבדים מסוימים של כל תמונה אך לא את כל מכלול התמונה מפני שהיא טובלת בערפילים מעולמות אחרים רחוקים ומוזרים.
