Manuscript on Parchment: Midrash "Bereishit Rabbati" by Rabbi Moshe Hadarshan, manuscript of Priest Jean- Joseph Brierre. Colorful illustrations, colorful drawings. Original leather binding.
Manuscript on Parchment - "Midrash Bereishit Rabbati" [5], 46, [7] leaves. [91 numbered pp.], 23X17 cm. France: The beginning of the 20th century, 1938 at the latest. Each page is illustrated with different colors and geometric shapes. Forms of Magen David and more. Full-pages illustrations in ten pages: Adam and Eve, angels and more. Original leather binding which is resembling "Ilan Sefirot". "The Shalom Library" which is in the National Library, has a facsimile of our manuscript, but without much of the paintings. In Addition there is attached and photocopied opinion of Mr. Benjamin Richler [retired], Director of the Institute of Hebrew Manuscripts at the National Library. Excellent Condition.
