ק.צטניק שמו הספרותי של יחיאל פיינר תלמיד עילוי בישיבת חכמי לובלין - באוגוסט 1943 בגיל 34 הגיע למחנה ההשמדה אושוויץ. בהמשך עבד עבודות כפייה בזקראו ובמחנה נוסף. משפחתו – אשתו, הוריו, אחיותיו ואחיו – נספו כולם בשואה.
