Letter from the Admor Rabbi Moshe Natan Nota Lemberger from Makova

Handwritten and signed letter by Rabbi Moshe Natan Nota Lemberger of Makova - 1953.

The Admor turns to Rabbi Chaim Weinstock to invite him to join a meeting which took place in his home 'regarding our holy yeshiva.' His signature is in the margins.

Rabbi Moshe Natan Nota Lemberger [1909-1983] primary disciple of Rabbi Sh. Greenfeld, author of Shu"t Maharshag, who served as a dayan in Mako during his grandfather's lifetime, author of Ateret Moshe and Kli HaGolah. He began to write his novellae when he was in the Theriesenstadt, working at the bakery there. He would write his novellae on the slips of paper the camp workers gave him in order to receive their allotted slices of bread. In 1952, he immigrated to the holy land and settled in Kiryat Atta. He disseminated Torah to thousands, left may novellae in the revealed and hidden aspects of Torah, in homily and chassidut.
