Rosh Milin, by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook. London, [1917]. Rare.

Rosh Milin, Kabbalistic and philosophical Sefer on Ta'amei HaMikrah, vowelization, Tagim and letters, written by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook when he was staying in London during World War I. [Zolkind Press], London, [1917].

[2], 140, [2] pp. 12 cm. This is a copy of the first and rare edition.

This Sefer, which is considered one of the deepest and most complex Seforim by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook, is based on the Tanta [טנת"א] model [טעמים, נקודות, תגין ואותיות] whose source is the Zohar and the Ari's Kabbalah. Gedolei Yisroel including Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Harlap and Rabbi Menachem Heilperin were deeply impressed by this wonderful Sefer. Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook himself wrote that this Sefer has a 'Segulah to lighten anyone who studies it'. His son Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Hacohen Kook used to give the Sefer to his disciples as Segulah for giving birth and his daughter the Rebbetzin Miriam Ranan used to give the Sefer as a Segulah to the students of Merkaz HaRav who joined the army.
