36 leaves. 20 cm. Most of it on blue paper. The last leaf is missing. This copy is an original copy of the Mahlov 1818 edition rather than a copy of the forged edition that was printed later - see Stefansky Chassidus no. 253 and see "The Editions of Levushei Serad and Arvei Nachal" (Hebrew) in Zechor LeAvraham, 1991, pp. 96-97. Owner's signatures "Yosef ben Zvi Sofer of Chatin".
The holy Rav Rabbi David Shlomo Eibeschutz (1755-1813) author of the Arvei Nachal. One of the greatest Admorim of his generation. Was renowned as an Iluy, even as a youth. Authored the Megilas Setarim on matters of Mussar and a commentary on the first chapter of Tehillim and Sefer Messos kol HaMitablim on Megilas Eicha. Served as Rav in Chroskov, Bodzanov and Soroka. Was a disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov, the holy Rav Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf of Tsharni Ostroh and the holy Rav Rabbi Meshulam Feibish of Zabrizh author of Yosher Divrei Emes.
New binding, moth holes, the last leaf is missing, stains, gluing to the last leaf, fair-good condition.
