PERSONAL AUSWEIS BRITISCHE ZONE - 6 temporary identity cards for children in the area of British occupation at the end of World War II.
The handwritten details state that the certificate is valid until 1960 (ie for children born in 1945 and up to the age of 15). The back of the certificate states that the holder of the certificate must submit an application for the issuance of a new identity card when he reaches the age of 15, and that the certificate is valid with the guardian's signature on the child only. Issued usually for orphaned children to parents who perished in the war, and whose names other than their name were not received in the initial stage after the war.
Six certificates five of which are cut in the lower right corner. Good condition.
