Letter dated Motzaei Shabbos Hagadol 5658 (1898), written to R. Shlomo Tzvi ben Feiga Steinberg, informing him that the Rebbe has received the pidyon in the sum of 184 [coins], ‘so may Hashem decree that Rachel shall be remembered for salvation and mercy and be blessed with a child in this month of salvation, the time of the year in which our matriarchs were blessed with conception ... that you too should become father and mother to live and healthy children ... and you should be blessed with the triple blessings of children, life and sustenance ...

Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel Padwa (1844-1904), son of Rabbi Shimon Perlow of Zavichvast – of the Neshchiz chassidic dynasty and Rebbe of Bolechow, where he was popular among all sectors of the community. Some of his Torah novellae are included in the published works of his son-in-law and successor Rabbi Shlomo Chaim of Bolechow.
