Family letter with invitation to the wedding of his daughter Nechama to Yoel, son of Rabbi Shalom Halberstam of Sanz. The invitation was posted just a few days before the wedding, which took place a few weeks before the sudden passing of the Rebbe of Novominsk,
meaning that this is probably one of the last letters that he wrote.
RABBI ALTER YISRAEL SHIMON PERLOW OF NOVOMINSK (1875-1933), son of Rabbi Yaakov of Novominsk and son-in-law of Rabbi Baruch Meir Twersky of Azarnitz – Chernobil. Prominent chassidic leader in Poland and author of Tifferes Ish.
RABBI NASSAN DAVID RABINOWICZ OF BIALA – LONDON (1900-1947), son of Rabbi Yerachmiel Tzvi, the Biala Rebbe of Shedlitz (and brother of the Biala Rebbe of Jerusalem), son-in-law of the Tiferes Ish of Novominsk. Settled in London in 1928.
