A book in an album edition with musical notes to the antisemitic song about the wandering Jew. The poem is accompanied by 8 large illustrated plates over an entire page - in lithographic print, depicting the endless wanderings of the 'wandering Jew'. Extremely rare.
The first panel describes the punishment of the Jew in which a Jew is seen beginning his wanderings in front of a hill on which Jesus was crucified. In the other boards the wandering Jew seems to be everywhere possible: against the background of different cities and places he has reached in his wanderings, desert, city, sea, forest, industrial area, finally in the last board the Jew is seen blowing his sin on the imaginary figure of Jesus.
