* Issue dated May 12, 1948 - Extensive coverage of the establishment of the State of Israel - two days before the declaration of independence. On the title page is a photograph of David Ben-Gurion with Hebrew soldiers, as well as photographs of memorial events held in memory of those who perished in the Holocaust in various camps in German territory, and articles dealing with the War of Independence and the threat of Arab invasion to Eretz Israel.
