Accompanied by numerous illustrations within the text of the views of Eretz Israel, inhabitants' garments, customs and more, as well as 40 plates of engravings.

First volume: VIII, 520 pp +[22] plates. Second volume: VI, 474 pp +[18] plates. 38.5 cm. Original oval bindings with gilt inscription and embossed gilt decorations. Gilt leaf cutting. Two maps (out of three) are missing. to the two volumes lacking spins. Loose bindings. And some have detached pages. Stains on the title page of the second part. slight folds at the edges of some of the first and last pages of volumes. moderate condition.
